Folders to sort media

I would like the ability to sort my media into more folders than just "unused" "used" and "starred" It would be nice to sort media based on products featured, models, etc...

Can't edit previous comment after posting by mistake.

The labels feature is pointless, given that w have to tick a small check in the top corner of a photo. This would make sense and I wouldn't be bothered by the lack of folders feature if I could ctrl- or shift-click photos, but I can't.

We also can't remove photos from the schedule post if we've accidentally added one extra in.

I don't know whether or not to be offended after how much money we all pay for this critical feature to have gone for this many years without any progress...

Folders make organizing the content so much more streamlined then labels. I work for a furniture company and have so many different vendors with different marketing materials that I'd much rather be able to see the different folders and organize the content accordingly rather than just filtering the content with labels.

This platform is by far the best for managing social media and assets - however, folders are a required feature. There are many use cases for folders that labels don't cover well.

This workaround is clunky and I think it reflects poorly on your prioritization of customer needs. From what I can tell, this has been a request for over two years with a significant amount of agreement.

I would like to use folders to categorize multiple pictures into specific campaigns, but I also need to use labels to sort through those pictures at an individual level based on labels.

Requiring users to do this using only labels makes the labels themselves unusable due to sheer quantity that may exist.

Yes, there is overlap in the functional outcome of sorting labeled images and keeping images in a named folder. But, it's a very common workflow to organize visually by folders, and almost 200 people have requested this feature. I think this thread should be re-labled as "almost exists, but not quite as good for people who prefer folders." :) Please reconsider this very useful feature.

Realy strange for a scheduling program, which I thought was ordering things hasn´t the possibility to order files by name or date..

This makes later.com useless (or heavily timeconsuming) for me.

I agree it'd be so much clearer and organized if you could create separate folders within the Media Library.

Unfortunately we can't see folders on your computer - we just receive files in the browser.  That said, if you upload all the files in a folder on the Later Media Library page, they will all be automatically "bulk-selected" (once they've been uploaded), so that you can easily do a bulk-action of applying a Label to all of them

Yeah, but it'd be even better if we could upload folders so that images that are already organized on our computers are uploaded organized.

hi there - we actually already have this feature - we call it "Labels".  You can add Labels to Media on the Media Library page, and then filter for just those Labels on the Calendar side-library
