Mass Edit Label and Notes in Media Library

It would be great to be able to edit this information for each image without having to click in and out of every single photo.

That would be great if adding media note to multi photos by once!! Coz I always post with the same caption for many different photos with the same tag!

There basically is no way to delete a label in mass without removing the image entirely or removing the label entirely. Which is not what I want to do. I want to be able to easily browse through all the images under one label and remove the label tied to it in large groups.

This would be very helpful! I often use the same wording to posts, so being able to add it to a bunch of images in one fell swoop would be a timesaver. Hashtag libraries could be done this way too.

    Hi Roger,

Thanks for taking the time to clarify. This would make my life so much easier already.
I do still think having a tool to also add notes would be handy as you could do a whole bunch of content updates in one hit rather than one at a time.

Really appreciate you taking the time to listen.

    Cheers Zinky

Hi Nicole - unless I'm totally misunderstanding you - what you're asking for is, indeed, currently available.

You do not need to click into each image details.  You can bulk-select a whole bunch of images, and apply labels to them all at once.  To bulk-select photos from the Media Library page, either click on the small check-mark in the top left of the thumbnails, or use your mouse to drag-and-select a bunch of photos.

Once you've selected at least 2 photos, a new menu pops up at the top that allows you to mass-add labels (or delete images, etc):

I've seen and used the Media Library, the thing I find frustrating and very time consuming is that you need to click into ever image and then from there you can mass edit the labels or the notes for that one image. What I'm talking about means that you would be able to edit labels and notes from one page and then hit save at the bottom and all images would be updated at the same time rather than clicking in and out of each one individually. Does that make sense?

You can already mass add/remove labels in Media Library (drag and select, or check media items), and you'll see a label option at the top.

For mass-editing Notes - not clear how that could work.  What's the use-case you're thinking off?
