I got excited about this, however – I didn't realize it's not a direct story publishing...

Odd, because plenty of other social publishing tools will allow you to send it to your phone at the time of scheduling... it will just warn you that the image is too big... then when you open it on your phone you just tell it to goto the stories...

Surprised Later is only now implementing this... it's not an Instagram API issue.

Not possible because of API of Instagram, that’s not Later problem, write to Facebook Developers Team, why they don’t do it yet(?!)

Instagram API don’t have this feature, that's all, problem not in Later App, problem in Facebook Development Team, which not implemented that function a lot of years.
