Schedule Posts without image

Currently the app doesn't allow scheduling only-text twitter posts. I'd like that.

    Hello again everyone!

Guess what? The wait is over...

We’ve officially launched text posts on Later!

You can now easily schedule and publish text posts (aka posts without any images) to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. That means you can post even more content to your social profiles – all within Later. You can access text posts on Later on the web and the Later mobile app.

Watch this quick video to learn more about how text posts come to life using Later.

Then, start optimizing your Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn profiles by scheduling your own text posts!

Keep sharing your awesome (and super helpful) feedback with us so we can continue to improve Later for all.

This is AMAZING! Thank you so much for listening and making this happen! Quick question... will this also work with links? So For Facebook for example, if you post a Youtube link, it will post a play box for it. Or a link might grab an image from the site. Would this feature also allow for that? :)

Is there an estimated date when this feature will become available?

Text only posts for LinkedIn and Facebook, and/or the ability to embed a link (such as a YouTube video) into the caption which automatically generates a preview image of the link, serving as the graphic for the post

Wait, this question has been up for 5 years, has 725 votes, and still has not been implemented?!

Agree - it would be great to schedule text posts for LinkedIn. Can't wait for the feature to be released!

"This feature would be a game-changer for Later. Currently have to use a separate product for just this feature, which is really irritating!" I coulnd't agree more. LinkedIn especially!!!!

This would be super helpful to have especially for Twitter as you don't always want to post an image with twitter posts.

Please make this available! I'm about to switch because I need a platform that will allow me to schedule without an image.

I'm surprised this is not available. This option would support in getting the content in while finalizing photos.

I was going to change over to Later but definitely not going to now because of this!

Very surprising that a social scheduling app doesn't have what feels like the most basic functionality. Adding this feature would unlock a lot for your users 👍🏻

I JUST upgraded my plan to include twitter, only to find out I have to include an image in my tweets. Very disappointed.
